The Darkness Inside
The emptiness of this heart
The stillness of this mind
The troubles with this love
Is always easy to find
The blood from this wound
Like tears from my eyes
The echoes from your voice
As you told me those lies
There you stand with my beating heart
The smile on your face can't hide the darkness inside
I hear it howl from inside your soul
Your eyes show the flame of the monster behind.
The life that was mine, he has replaced
Now here I sit this prison of four walls
Beyond the point of anger I went
And wonder alone through my hearts empty halls
Life only gives what one can handle
And this empty husk has had its full
When is enough really enough
Or do I wait for darkness's pull
I'm empty, I'm done
You have won, have won
Of all the things I have lost in my life
You will always be one........... be one.
